The specific authors and content creators featured on the site may not adhere 100% to your theological beliefs or “Denomination”. But one thing is for certain, there is complete unity in the essentials of our faith. Jesus died, was buried, rose 3 days later, and will return to judge the living and the dead setting his Kingdom on Earth, and HIS promises do not change!!
Remember this, Jesus Christ COMMANDS us to be a family and to love one another. Belief in the LORD Jesus Christ, and HIS work alone, for our salvation is what is most important. You can be a brother or sister in Christ but chose to worship Jesus in a different way than others. Sanctification is a process!
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2 Corin. 3:18 NKJV)
There will always be differences between us (hard to agree 100% on everything) but always remember what matters the most. That Jesus (of the Biblical texts) is the center of our belief. He is the head of the church, and we are the rest of the body. You need other body parts, don’t you?
We all can’t be the hands...
The church has different strengths, and collectively needs to come together to fulfill His plan that is worked out "through us". Not everyone is a Billy Graham evangelist, or a deep philosophical writer like CS Lewis. Paul really hammers this home in Romans 12:3-8. I warn against those (to not be like the Pharisees of Jesus’ time) comparing themselves as superior to other God loving people, only to lose sight of what really matters.
It has been (Old Testament) and always will be (New Testament) ALL about our LORD, and our God, Jesus of Nazareth. He died, was buried, and rose again defeating death, securing a place for US (who do not deserve it) a place in Heaven, to commune once again with the Creator and Designer of this universe we live in. Let’s be salt and light to an un-believing world.
All we have to do is give HIM our hearts and full attention.
“And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31 NKJV)
